The act was committed last year and the daughter has already put to bed a bouncing baby boy named Moses Okiki Boluwatife, Nigerian Tribune reports.
Narrating her ordeal, the teenage girl, Omolola said her parents divorced about 13 years ago when she was 3-years-old and she has been staying with her mum, Funmilayo since then. In September 2013, her father insisted on taking custody of her. When he took her home, he insisted she will be sleeping in the same room with him.
It all started on December 25, 2013 when her father came home drunk at about 1 a.m. and threatened her with a sharp cutlass to remove her clothes and sleep with him. He succeeded in forcefully having se'xual interc.ourse with her.
That was not the end of her ordeal as her father continued with his s#exual assault. He ra.ped her again in March and April 2014, unknown to her that she was already pregnant from the first encounter.
In April, she started to feel sick and was taken to the Ronke Clinic, Igbeti, by her stepmother who is a nurse and a pregnancy test was conducted which came out positive.
When her father was confronted with the girl’s allegations and her pregnancy report, he denied the allegations and started maltreating his daughter until the case was reported at the Igbeti Division of Oyo State Police Command on April 30, 2014.
The teenage girl was then taken by the Divisional Police Officer, Mr Oyelere Ishola, to General Hospital, Igbeti where the pregnancy was re-confirmed and she was registered for ante-natal care at the Hospital and while investigation into the matter commenced.
Oderinde was later arrested and he confessed to have committed the act but denied impregnating his daughter. Based on his confession, he was arraigned in Magistrate Court, Kisi on a three-count charge including r.ape and was thereafter remanded in prison custody.
On September 9, Omolola gave birth to a baby boy. She said: “After I was delivered of the baby and my grandfather was told that the baby has a striking resemblance with my father, he ran away and has not been seen since then.”
If the child grow up,who will she tell him or her is the father?.. Strange world
