Nicki Minaj And Boyfriend Safaree Samuels Split After 14 Years

Nicki Minaj and boyfriend of 14 years Safaree Samuels have recently spilt over what may be described as 'conflict of interest'.
According to sources connected with the former couple, he became 'uncontrollably jealous' of Nicki's success, and wanted to pursue his own solo career as a rapper.

For the records, Nicki and Safaree were both members of an amateur rap group before the former hit the jackpot by getting signed to Lil-wayne's label Young Money-YMCMB.
Sources add that Nicki and Safaree had an arrangement -- she's the breadwinner and he's the backup singer/hype man/personal assistant. However Safaree got sick of being in the background and had become increasingly hostile an impatient ... an emotion she reciprocated-TMZ reports.
The final straw that broke the camels back was when Safaree didn't show up recently to one of Nicki's shows, leaving her stranded, and without a hype man.  She confronted him and he went crazy.

Also this week, Safaree showed up in public with several of his Nicki tattoo's he had covered up.
He covered that on his chest, and seemed to have gotten laser to erase that on his arm.

Safari even covered the tattoo of Nicki on his chest, pictured above, covering the drawing with what appears to be a helmet pictured below:

Back in March, the couple sparked engagement and wedding rumours, when they were spotted on vacation wearing matching diamond bands.

Apparently, the wedding was not to be.
