Multi-award winning Hip-Hop star, Peter Okoye of PSquare
musical group, has expressed positive feelings about his latest deal as the
brand ambassador for Olympic Milk, the ambassadorship contract is said to worth
several millions of dollar for him. Peter
was colourfully revealed at launch of Olympic Milk new campaign tagged,
‘Winning with Olympic: The Healthy Choice.’ According to reports, the signing
of the contract between the music star and the company had taken place weeks
before he was officially announced.

With a show-stopping performance, the popular music star and
dancer was unveiled at the rebranding campaign which was held at Civic Centre,
Victoria Island, Lagos on Thursday. The event saw the introduction of two new
variants of the brand – Olympic Powdered Milk and ready-to-drink Olympic Apple
Flavoured bottled drink products.
Peter who was dressed in black suit with a black hat
electrified the occasion with a dramatic entry into the hall with a suitcase
which contained the ‘best kept secret.’
The music star revealed the new Olympic milk variants which
are ‘best kept secret’ through theatrical performance which wowed the audience
that comprised the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon, Adeyemi
Ikuforiji; Chairman, Nutricima Limited, Chief Kola Jamodu (OFR); Vice Chairman,
PZ Cussons, Mr. Tunde Oyeola; MD of Nutricima Limited, Mr. Suneel Vasudevan and
representatives from the Nutrition Society of Nigeria (NSN).
The new, highly rich and nutritious Olympic Powdered Milk
comes in 16g single serve sachet and 300g family pack, while the grab-and-go
Olympic Apple Flavoured food drink is available in 500ml bottle.
He performed for more than 30 minutes after unveiling the
new Olympic powdered milk and Apple flavoured drink. There was ample time for
him to display his unique dance steps on stage.
He also endorsed the Olympic brand in a brief promotional video shown at
the event.
Speaking on his deal as the new face of Olympic milk, Peter
explained that he felt honoured being the ambassador of the Olympic
Milk. "Among thousands or perhaps millions of people in the
entertainment industry, I
feel honoured to be chosen as the brand ambassador.
"I am ready to push the brand to the next level because it’s
really worth it. It means a lot not just to me but also to my fans. If a brand
isn’t worth it I have nothing to do with such brand. The fact that I am ready
to work with this brand is an indication of its top quality.
"I am not going to sit down and relax. I am set to come up
with creative ideas the same way I handle that of P-Square, I will put in 100
and one per cent," Peter said.
